This FstSort kiwifruit weight grader is composed of an elevator, a conveyor, and a disc-type weight-grading unit. Kiwifruit are poured into the hopper, conveyed onward, and first settle onto individual weighing trays. Each fruit is weighed by sensors, while an encoder tracks its position.

FstSort Kiwi optical sorter uses a multi-spectral camera to identify subtle colour differences or colour intensity, ensuring that each batch of apple has a uniform colour and meets brand appearance standards.
